I've always wondered how I became a photographer, and to this day I don't think I chose photography. It just kind of picked me... I went to school for computer engineering, mathematics and physics, and I was on my way to getting my bachelor for project management and either a higher level of engineering or theory and physics. But deep inside of me, with all those jobs that earned me money from what I went to school for made me feel more disconnected, sad and incomplete. I couldn't be myself, and my thoughts, imaginations, creativity were all restricted and treated as if it was a joke.

I quit, without even putting a two weeks notice, and went through horrific trials, and somehow I went back to the thing I thought would just be a hobby, but deep down inside locked within a bolted door I knew... this was meant for me.

I remember when I was a young child, I have only but the out most respect for artists- weather they maybe in music, acting, choreography, and visuals. I always wanted to aspire from their shared inspirations, but I was too poor and with no one to teach nor share and the internet was still at its infant stage, I had no source to learn for myself, and to make it all worse, every adult told me, including the people who cared for me to never go for art... it will not feed nor clothe me, and just do it for fun, but never make it as your job.

Well after a decade and half or two, here I am in Los Angeles, just by Beverly hills and Hollywood, currently residing as a head shot photographer(not something I am really fond of, but learning and improving and keeping as source of income), a light technician, an aspiring cinematographer/ director of photography. Currently working on a couple of projects of my own, that would include some of my friends whom I know who belongs on the spot light with their crafts and talent. Also composing a song, and writing a story for a movie that I plan to direct and shoot myself.

I am not rich, but the definition of rich can be very vague depending on how you look at things, so better put I don't have a lot of money nor do I have great equipment at my disposal, but all I know is that somehow this kid who once upon a time deprived to expressing art, who didn't did well with his education when he was going to school in asia, who barely spoke english, who came from a poor family, who went to school for an absolute opposite of what I am doing now, is now here... aspiring, posting, and hopefully inspiring curious readers like you.

it's kinda funny that some or most of us, don't have any intention of being famous, but just rather being good and if possible great- doing what we love, what we enjoy, our hobbies, our career, our art. Although at the same time because this is where we are inputting most of our time and life, it's hard because no matter what, we need the income to support ourselves, and possibly and future likely hood our love ones...

So it can't be help but to wonder, either a) what would it be like if I could be famous, b) wouldn't it be so cool(other etc. of praise) if I was famous, and or c) I(we) will do what ever we can to becoming famous.

The need produces the variable of the want that becomes our resolve that leads us and becomes our dreams... I'm not sure, and I don't really know how green is the grass on the other side, but it would be nice to see it once in a while, but that's not what I want... that's not what I need to do...

all I want... is just to be good, at something that I love to do...
